Thixon P-6-EF will bond various metals including hot and cold rolled steel, stainless steel alloys, brass, aluminum, and zinc plated metals. It can also be used for bonding rubber to fibers such as rayon, polyester, and nylon.

This product is especially suitable for fast curing natural rubbers and rubber blends like NR/BR. Megum 122 J is typically used in conjunction with a Megum or Thixon primer.

Megum™ 508 can be used as a one‐coat bonding agent or as a covercoat over a primer such as Megum™ 3276 or Thixon P‐6‐EF. Megum™ 508 may be employed with all conventional vulcanization methods.
