MEGUM 508 is a lead‐free bonding agent used for the bonding of rubber compounds to metals and other solid materials under vulcanization conditions. This product is especially suitable for the adhesion of difficult-to-bond compounds, e.g., EPDM and rubbers with low hardness.
Common Applications: MEGUM 508 can be used as a one‐coat bonding agent or as a cover coat over a primer such as MEGUM 3276 or THIXON P‐6‐EF. MEGUM 508 may be employed with all conventional vulcanization methods.
