Dartek® Coated Nylon Films

ProAmpac Packaging (previously Transcontinental) is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging and paper products used in many different industries. Its Dartek®Nylon 6,6 cast film is a versatile material for packaging and industrial applications. It retains its properties over a broad temperature range as it remains flexible as low as -100ºF (-73ºC) and will withstand temperatures up to 450ºF (232ºC), dependent on environmental conditions. It is resistant to most organic solvents and dilute alkalis, but should not be used in contact with strong acids. Its strength and durability are excellent, as is its abrasion resistance. Its outstanding clarity and sparkle help to ensure that the packaged product is displayed optimally. The different grades of film each address specific performance requirements.
