Mediaplast 650

A synthetic plasticizer based on polyalkylbenzene (bi- and trialkylated aromatics), which is especially recommended for the use in elastomers with low polarity like NR, IIR, BR, SBR, EP(D)M, etc. The compatibility with rubber compounds containing strong polar elastomers, like nitrile rubber for example, is low. Due to the extraordinary compatibility with non-polar compound systems, the relatively low setting point of approx. -50 °C and the also low volatility, rubber articles with a high aging resistance and very good mechanical properties as well as excellent cold flexibility can be produced.

Common Applications: For use in elastomers with low polarity like NR, IIR, BR, SBR, EP(D)M, etc.
