HAKUENKA DD is an ultra-fine precipitated calcium carbonate coated with organic compounds. It was originally developed for reinforcing rubber materials in the early 20th century. HAKUENKA DD has 50 nm uniformed ultra-fine particles as the primary particle. These particles are surface-treated with rosin acid in order to provide compatible surface modification when it is mixed with organic materials or with vehicles or diluents.
Common Applications: HAKUENKA DD is specially developed for offset ink and natural and synthetic rubber applications. HAKUENKA DD is also used in other applications, such as printing ink, rubber and more.
Type: Precipitated Calcium Carbonate
