In addition to cost and weight improvements, Dualite microspheres offer many other benefits such as better impact/crack resistance, enhanced viscosity and reduced shrinkage. 

Advanced Superabsorbent Polymers (SAPs)

Chase Corporation’s ZapZorb® superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) are versatile solutions for liquid control and waste solidification utilizing advanced sodium polyacrylate technology. ZapZorb SAPs outperform traditional methods by reducing material usage, handling and disposal costs, while enhancing safety and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

H.M. Royal offers ZapZorb XPOA grade, a highly oleophilic and hydrophobic resin in powder form that thickens crude storage tank sludge, oil residue and other liquid mixes containing hydrocarbons and oils. ZapZorb XPOA resins are made from 100% recycled content and have excellent absorption capacity with little to no increase in waste volumes. Applications include environmental remediation, oil and gas drill cuttings, industrial waste solidification, and oil, grease and solvent spill cleanup.
