COVID-19 and "Stay at Home" Order: Critical Infrastructure Businesses to Remain Open

H.M. Royal, Inc. continues to monitor and respond to the rapidly developing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. We remain committed to the health, safety and well-being of our employees and our business partners.

In an attempt to mitigate exposure to the coronavirus, numerous governors have issued "Stay at Home" orders requiring all individuals to stay at home with the exception of those who are required to work to maintain "Critical Infrastructure Sectors."

The Department of Homeland Security defines critical infrastructure on the following website.

Many of our customers manufacture goods that are used for personal hygiene, medical treatment, national security and food products. H.M. Royal management has determined that H.M. Royal falls within the definition of critical infrastructure and will remain open for business. We will continue to provide materials to our customers.

H.M. Royal expects to continue working with our suppliers and shipping warehouses to continue supplying operating customers.

The safety of our employees and their families, customers, and the public is paramount. We have implemented internal procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), such as safe distancing and working from home, to mitigate the exposure to COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact your local H.M. Royal representative.
