Satintone® W has a very good balance of optical and mechanical properties and also provides abrasion resistance in traffic paints. It is a general-purpose kaolin grade used in a wide variety of polymeric systems and is highly recommended for titanium dioxide extension.
Common Applications: Water-borne interior / exterior flats, solvent-borne interior/exterior flats, rubbers, TiO2 extension, polyamides (6, 66 and blends), pharmaceutical rubbers, industrial safety coatings, film-antiblock, electrical capacitors, rubber sealants, adhesives.
Type: High brightness calcined kaolin.
