Homocal-D

Homocal-D is an ultra-fine calcium carbonate that has 80 nm of particles as the primary particle. These particles are surface-coated with rosin acids in order to provide compatible surface modification when mixed with vehicles or diluents.

Common Applications: Homocal-D is commonly used in paint applications where high concentrate formulation is required. Homocal-D contributes to improved brushing features and ensures a glossy but smooth paint surface. When blended with TiO2, it improves water resistance as well as antialkaline and anti-gasoline properties.

Homocal-D is a registered trademark of Shiraishi Kogyo Kaisha, Ltd.
