Administrative Assistant

Royal, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant in our Trenton, NJ office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Quality departments within H.M. Royal, Inc.
  • Prepare letters, reports, documentation and communication with customers including handling of requests for information.
  • Complete purchase order confirmations.
  • Process broker invoices for import shipment including tracking shipments, processing invoices and accounting information.
  • Data entry tasks using word processing, spreadsheet or database formats as required.
  • Manage the approval and filing of Safety Data Sheets for Quality Management.
  • Update and maintain designated policies and procedures and certifications.
  • Working both independently and in cooperation with other team members to complete projects and assignments in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years administrative assistant experience in corporate environment
  • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel - experience with ERP systems a plus
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and have a commitment to excellence
  • Must have acute attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
