Gelsil GS-300

Gelsil GS-300 is an amorphous, white, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic synthetic precipitated silica in powder form with a very fine particle size used as a thickening agent. Due to its large surface area and high oil adsorption capacity, it can be used to enhance the thixotropic index in coatings. It can be incorporated by direct dispersion with high-speed impellers (2000-3000 r.p.m).

Common Applications: Thickener for solvent-based coatings, Polyester Resins, Gel Coats, Epoxy Resins, Adhesives, Antislip Agent, Caulks, Sealants, Inks, Road Marking Materials, Printing Inks, Powder Coatings
